Philip R. Mauro, age 87. WWII U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Mauro served with General Patton's tank division in the Battle of the Bulge. Beloved husband of the late Virginia; loving son of the late Anthony and the late Mary, nee Scianna; dearest brother of Victoria (the late Frank) Tavano and the late Joseph (the late Mary) Mauro and Josephine (the late Thomas) Grogan; dear uncle of Frank (Rosemary) Tavano; great-uncle of Anthony (Brandee) Tavano; great-great-uncle of Fender. Visitation Saturday 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 W.
