Raymond J. Fergelec, 80, of Sheffield, IL died Friday, Oct. 17, 2008 in Princeton, IL. There will be no services. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society. Raymond was born May 24, 1928 in Chicago, IL the son of Paul and Anna, nee
Telgarski aka Telgar, Fergelec. He graduated from Lone Tech High School in 1946. He married Noretta A. Neidhart on Nov. 4, 1954. Raymond served in the US Army and worked in maintenance for Trans World Airlines at Chicago O'Hare International Airport for 20 years. His hobbies included collecting records, LPs, and other collectibles, sports, playing hockey and softball, and he never missed a football game on Sundays. He loved animals, specifically dogs and then cats in his later years. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Nora and Steve Lauterburg, Champaign; a granddaughter, Jennie Gartner, Champaign; two sisters; and a brother. He was preceded in death by his parents.
