He was proud to be a great-grandpa to Brianna, Brooke and Jackson Kron. To all who knew him, Ray was a good friend and an easygoing man who would give you the shirt off his back. He volunteered with the Tri-State Fire Department for over 25 years. Ray also served our country in the Army. Ray was a master carpenter with over 58 years with the Chicago Regional Carpenters Union. Ray loved and was loved by his family, often seen dancing with Betty, building homes, and dominating all comers in horseshoes and bowling. Ray was a big sports fan - especially the Cubs.
