Dear Harold, David and Miriam, As you know best, Redina was extraordinary. Kind, smart, wise, compassionate, and warm. Nothing can fill this loss, but remembering all the good she left behind, the wonderful things she did and people she helped reminds us that she is still with us in many ways and that she made a difference. Harold and David - words cannot express my sorrow at Dina's passing. She was a friend to our family for 35 years. Despite all of her professional achievements, her greatest joy was her family. You are in our hearts.

Dear Harold & David
I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Dina's death. We were law partners in the late 1970s and early 1980s and were among the first attorneys to advertise our services (in the Reader) which proved quite successful. We worked hard, laughed a lot, and were good friends thru it all. She was a dedicated, superb lawyer and a bright and good partner. My deepest sympathies to you and the entire family on this tragic loss. Dottie Kaplan Benjamin

My heartfelt sympathy to all in Redina's family. I have known Redina for 17 years. She was my friend, my attorney and a wonderful Lady. She was my lifeline on several occasions when I needed someone to help. Since I received the news of her passing earlier today I have been deeply saddened and am struck by the sudden void in my life. She was a Ladies Lady and I am priviledged to have known her. May God Bless her!

I was shocked to learn of Dina's untimely passing. Unfortunately, I didn't know her very well and have only spoken to her a handful of times over the years but I enjoyed those conversations and always looked forward to the next one. It's sad to think that, that can never happen now and it just makes me miss her even more, my condolences to the family.

There are no words I could possibly come up with now to express my own personal sadness over losing a lifetime friend. We grew up together, giggled together as children, made fun of everyone and everything until our sides ached from laughing. When we renewed our friendship as adults, she used both her expertise and her warmth to give me 'a new lease on life' almost every time we managed to get together across the miles. I'm going to miss Dina so much. I can only wish her family the comfort of remembering always just how fully she lived. God rest her beautiful
soul.

I am so saddened to hear of Dina's passing. I met her at Northwestern during chemo. We sat together 2 or maybe 3 times. I had just begin my chemo and she was so nice and friendly and just an inspiration to me. She helped me get over the "resentment" of having to have chemo. I am sorry I did not know her longer. I send my sincerely sympathy to the entire family.

David:

I sit here with a heavy heart on the passing of your mother. I know what she meant to you. Being your partner, I had the pleasure of meeting your great mother in a time of need and as always, for me and many other people she was willing to give a helping hand. Weather it legal advise or just a kind word. I know how your mother felt about police officers; she knew day in and day out what we did and she showed a great appreciation for the men in blue. This is my way of telling you what she meant to me and I think I speak for a lot of other police officers who hearts your mother touched through her kind words and great smile she will be missed. Thanks Dave for letting me be a part of your mothers life if only for a short time.

Redina was a wonderful attorney and a credit to the profession. She was also a wonderful friend and mentor. She was happiest when speaking about her family.
She will be missed by many many people. Rest in peace.
