Dearest Aunt and Cousins,

Mel and I are saddened to hear of your great loss. We loved Uncle Dick very much as did all of you. Our hearts are heavy for you, but we know that he is resting now with God. He will be waiting for the day each of you joins him in the future. Our prayers are offered up for all of you.
