Richard J.D. Brandl, 32, of Elgin, formerly of Park Ridge, beloved husband of Shannon, nee Willer; loving father of Teia; dear son of Phyllis D. (Donald R.) Thomson and the late Richard Brandl; fond brother of Katherine (Vince) Clemente and Diane (Kevin) McArdle; dear son-in- law of William (Rosemary) Willer and Sharon (Mike) Dembowski; brother-in-law of Derek (Beth) Willer; grandson-in-law of Charlotte Bogielski; proud uncle of Katherine, Julie, Owen, Charlie, Teagan, Chloe and Lauryn. Longtime veterinary technician for Niles Animal Hospital and Animal Emergency of McHen- ry County. Visitation Thursday from 3 until 9 p.m. at The M.J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago. In state Friday 10 a.m. at Edison Park Lutheran Church, 6626 N. Oliphant, until time of Service 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Teia Brandl Scholarship Fund, c/o TCF Bank, 1 W. Devon Avenue, Park Ridge, IL 60068.
