Dear Carol,
We are so sorry to read this morning about Uncle Dick's passing. We hold fond memories of your recent visits at Jimmy's house in Chicago and the birthday party. His smile and gentle kind nature throughout the years will remain forever in our hearts. You are in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

While Dick and I haven't seen each other very much in the years since our retirements, I always considered Dick to be among my best friends. I have fond memories of the two fathers verses suns softball games played on the Fourth of July years ago, in which Dick participated. Dick shared my passion for baseball. The last time that he and Carol visited, Dick and I played catch for a while. I have a picture of that day posted in my kitchen. It was great that Carol and Dick were able to take the trips that they did. Dick also shared my interest in astronomy. I will never meet a better person. Thanks Carol, for being his companion. I know he enjoyed your presence.
