I´ll never forget you big guy. Best teacher ever I remember your daughter Tanya and I shared the same name. You would also have your son Matthew visit us. A lot of us that you taught at Jenner have kept our heads above water. We have careers and are raising our children to be even better. Rest Well Sir.

This man was one of the greatest educator I've ever had. I had him in sixth grade. We didn't use many text books....he literally taught us with words. I'll never forget his discipline tactics either....we often say we need more like Mr. Moore right now today. RIP

My Tribute to the best teacher ever in Cabrini Green!
Taught from his core
This man was MR. MOORE
His insights
Brought us light.
In a darken place
That sometimes was a disgrace.
A strong black man
With a voice so grand.
He he took a mighty stand.
This black intellectual
Guided our life's schedule.
Challenged our sinew
To search out new venues.
He understood what we couldn't see at that time.
Be he continued to inspired our minds.
A man so big but yet so humble in his execution
See he understood our mind's confusion.
Mr. Moore never taught to receive.
He taught hoping not to grieve....
Just to see...
You and me...
What we would be...
Mr. Moore rest with lord you earn it, you deserve it..
1980 Centennial class of Edward Jenner school!
