Richard Perlman Obituary

Richard L. Perlman, 67, a long time resident of Vernon Hills, IL, died Friday, November 20, 2015 peacefully at home. Richard was the loving and devoted father to Beth and Brent Perlman; caring and supportive brother to Judy (Mark) Taylor; and fond uncle to Laura (Kyle Hood), Amy, and Michael Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents Frances and Jack Perlman. Richard was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison where he was passionately involved in the Madison community. He won numerous awards as a sales executive, and completed his career as the owner of a consulting firm for major retailers implementing technology products. A unique, warm hearted, and expressive man, Richard was an avid Scrabble player and humorous story teller. He was dedicated and loyal to his family and was the attentive owner of a bulldog, Rambo, and a parrot, Homer. He will be greatly missed by his entire family. Private service.
