Richard Scheiberle Obituary

Richard K. Scheiberle passed away on November 27, 2023 at the age of 90. He is survived by his sister-in-law Laura Scheiberle, niece Patricia (Brennon) White, grand-niece Keira and many good friends. He was predeceased by his parents Richard H. and Irma Scheiberle and by his brother Gerald Scheiberle. Richard was born in Chicago, IL in 1933. After graduating Plano High School, Richard enlisted in the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1955. He was a long-time employee of Sears Roebuck in the corporate office and later worked for Emerson Electric. Richard was an active member of Second Unitarian Church in Lakeview and also volunteered at the Lincoln Park Zoo and Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. He was a passionate supporter of many causes throughout his life. He enjoyed being in nature, traveling, and the Chicago Blackhawks.A private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests any donations be made in Richard's memory to Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly Chicago, Jane Addams Senior Caucus, or the Second Unitarian Church in Chicago.
