Today marked 8 years since we adopted Millie from CARE and in looking to reach out to thank you for bringing her into our lives, I learned of Rich's passing. We are so deeply sorry for your loss and will be keeping you and your entire family in our thoughts and prayers.

Marianne - our deepest condolences to you and your family. We loved Rich. Every time we saw him at the shop, we would leave learning something new about the business and the "magic" he created on a daily basis. Shortly after 9/11, we had some U.S. flags we wanted cleaned. When we came to pick them up and pay for the work, he said there was no charge. We were stunned. He said it felt unpatriotic and wrong to charge someone to bring a U.S. flag back to it's original glory. I almost cried after he said that. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers, now and forever. We love you guys.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband Richard. I watched the video honoring Richard and I was overwhelmed and joyed by the amount of true happiness and love I witnessed in those family photos. I can't imagine what a loss like this must feel like for you. I can only hope that your warm memories, your friends, and your family give you the support and love that you need right now. As your Trader Joe's family, I can say that we love you and we miss you. If you need something, anything, we will be there for you.
