Rita Mae (Zoleski) Zolecki, nee Heinz, 79, of Lemont, passed away Nov. 13, 2008.
Rita was a very active member of St. Alphonsus Church, donating much of her time to the church. She was also a member of the Lemont Area Historical Society. Beloved wife of the late Raymond N.
Zoleski; loving mother of Barb (Joe)
Bannon, Dan (Bonnie) Zolecki and Greg (Linda) Zolecki; adored grandmother of Matt (Carolyn) Zolecki, Valerie Zolecki, Meghan Bannon and Josh and Krystle
Zolecki; cherished great-grandmother of Luke and Madelyn; cherished sister of
Margaret (Harry) Grabo, the late Leroy
(Mary) Heinz and the late Laurence Heinz; dear sister-in-law of Rita (late Marvin)
Ludwig and the late Leonard (Lucille)
Zolecki; and fond aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday 2 to 8 p.m. at the Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C., 108 Illinois St., Lemont. Funeral Services Sunday, Nov. 17, 2008, 9:30 a.m. to St. Alphonsus Church, Lemont, for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment St. Alphonsus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Alphonsus Church, 625 State St.,

Dear Family and Friends of Rita:
My mom, Morella (Kieft) Johnson had been friends with Rita since childhood. My mom grew up on State Street. Just one year ago I was fortunate to meet Rita for the first time in my adult life and thoroughly enjoyed my visit with her (and Cyrilla). Rita had been a true friend to mom throughout the years keeping in touch with letters and phone calls. Mom passed away October 13th, just one month before Rita. I would like to think that mom and Rita are continuing their life long friendship in heaven. Just wanted to let you know that I've been thinking of you. I can say that anyone who knew Rita was truly blessed. Sincerely,
