I was much saddened by Bob's death. We were together at Notre Dame reunion, saw each other in Philadelphia area with others last November and he had notified me he was coming this year, and often I stopped by to see him in the office near my son's house.

He was a bright, thinking, and cheerful person with a good sense of humor.
