Dr. Bob Mittendorf was a generous gracious gentle man who enriched the lives of colleagues, quickened our thinking, inspiring our dedication to Ob/Gyn and Neonatal Care, and who brought a lot of happiness to a lot of people a lot of the time. Patricia Rose Falcao, MD, MPH, FACOG Needham, MA

I was proud to know BOB as a colleague and friend. He was bright, thoughtful and willing to be an outspoken contrarian. Always the gentleman. He was older and a guiding spirit when we were residents together. I saw him last year and as he moved thru the lobby my wife thought he looked like a movies star. I am sorry for his family and I know he was a strong guiding father.
