Dear Reichl Family,
I have just learned of Mr. Reichl's passing, and I am very sad for your loss. He was teacher of mine and my husband for business courses 12-13 years ago, and I just thought he was a wonderful and memorable teacher. My family and I would run into him around town from time to time, and he always remembered me and took time to see how things were going. Mr. Reichl will definitely be missed!

It was always a joy to have Cadillac Bob stop by the coin shop. We shared lots of coin talk and he let me in his life with his jokes, terrible puns and other stories. We disagreed on golf...he loved it and I hated it. I threatened to shoot a round of golf with him at the club...he avoided me for a month. I agree with W.C. Fields...it's a good walk ruined. Bob was a gentleman, always in good spirits and very funny. He always made me laugh. Whether it was passing an unsigned check, wearing a Bears jersey with a White Sox cap after a loss or trying to educate me about all the things I slept through in college. He was compassionate, trustworthy, generous and very loving and proud of his family. People can live a hundred years and never come close to his love for life. Though he died way too young, he left with dignity and class. So rest in peace Cadillac Bob. I'll miss ya! Bob at the coin shop.

I was truly saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He and I were teaching colleagues at Morton College and I really enjoyed his friendship. I admired his fairly chipper and matter-of-fact demeanor during his bouts with cancer. I particularly recall an event about 3 or 4 years ago when he came up to me at an AAII investing meeting in Chicago and he seemed to be happy that he had escaped the scourge. Again, I'm sorry it was not to be.

Though he leaves a space no other can fill, he no longer suffers. Yet he is still with us in our hearts and memories.
A good man and great educator.
You and all he touched in life are in our prayers and the prayers of our church.
God bless you always, all ways,
