Robert Rigali Obituary

Rigali, Robert 'Bob' Sr., Age 88. Proud Italian Irishman from Oak Park, Park Ridge, Abbey Springs-Wi. and frequent vacationer of Anna Maria Island, Fla. 3rd generation owner of Daprato Rigali Studios of Chicago. Bob went to his 'home on the range' December 27, 2020. Loving husband of Therese, nee Mullins for 64 years. Adored dad of Mary (Joe) Ufheil, Bob Jr. (Emmy), John (Netty), Mike (Julie Kanak) and Lisa Galvin (Leo Gaona). Best pal to grandkids Kristen (Jason Downey), Joey (Samantha), Bobby, Taylor, Rocco, Luke, Tony, Danny, Jason, Jack, Michael (fiancee Maddie Dardanes), Ellie, Tommy, Audrey and our angel Johnny. Great grandpa of Dominic and Sienna. Devoted son of the late Joe and Eleanor, dear brother of Ellie (late Wally Jones and late Dick) Arnold, late Joe (late Jean), late Bill (late Roberta) and late Donny (Rose). Fond brother-in law of Pat Pinter, Bunny Mullins and Monica Mullins. Preceded in death by Jack and Joan Mullins, Ed Mullins, and June (Milt) Kroll. Bob served in the Navy, was an extremely proud alumni of Ascension, Fenwick and the University of Notre Dame where he played in the backfield for the 1953 National Championship football team. Bob is remembered for his beautiful smile, sparkling blue eyes, pride in his work, kindness to others, love for his country, friends and family. He loved to sing, dance and play any sport. We will miss him every minute of every day. In lieu of flowers, donations to Catholic Charities, please. A Memorial Mass was held on Wednesday, December 30 at St. Giles Church, Oak Park.
