Siegel; son of the late Edna and Jack Siegel of Cleveland, OH; son-in-law of the late Rose and Harry Cooperman of Chicago, IL; brother-in-law of Marcia Ann Cooperman of Oregon; caring cousin of Norman Rosenthal of Philadelphia, PA. Proudly served as LTJG in the US Navy during the Korean War. While stationed at USN Audit Ofc Chicago in 1953 he met the love of his life; they married in 1956. Bob died of complications after heart surgery at Evanston Hospital. He was a Distinguished Member of the Illinois CPA Society and retired Financial VP; graduated cum laude from Miami U, Oxford, OH; (Phi Beta Kappa & Beta Gamma Sigma) continued his studies at Northwestern U. Long time community volunteer, ex Northbrook Park District VP, activist and charitable humanitarian. The world has lost one of it "Finest". He will forever be in our hearts. Interment was at Shalom Memorial Park. Private service was held. Contributions in his name to American Heart Assoc., 208 S. LaSalle, Chicago, IL 60604 or Nat'l MS Society, Illinois Chapter, 525 W. It was my pleasure to work with Bob when he was a Commissioner at the Northbrook Park District. He took his position seriously and made many valuable contributions.

I knew Bob in the library's current events discussion group. He always had worthwhile contributions to offer and knew the intricacies of financial matters. He was a wonderful man who will be sorely missed.

I knew Bob through the Northbrook Public Libarary. He was an active member of ouur current events and history groups. I always enjoyed hearing Bob's opinions even when I did not agree with him
