Robert Alman Sobel, M.D., 93, beloved husband of the late Flora, nee Rosenbaum; loving father of Susan (Michael) Weininger, Daniel (Kira Wigoda) and Joel (Kathryn Woolard); cherished grandfather of Melissa Weininger (Mark Mendelsohn), Noah (Jennifer) Weininger and Zoë, Eli, Max, and Ben Sobel; treasured great-grandfather of Noam and Shayna Mendelsohn-Weininger and Emma Weininger; dear brother of the late Leo (Roslyn) and Sylvia Sobel and Lilian (Robert) Reiss; treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many. Synagogue service 11 a.m. Monday, at Anshe Emet Synagogue, 3751 N. Broadway, Chicago, IL 60613. Private interment in Detroit, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Anshe Emet Synagogue.
