Robert Strama Obituary


Robert S. Strama, age 65, of New Lenox, July 4, 2009 after a courageous two year battle with cancer, at his late residence with his family by his side. Born in Chicago, lifelong area resident. Employed by Chicago Park District for 20 years, retiring in 1996. He was a Republican committeeman of the 22nd ward from 1988 to 1996. Preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Catherine, nee Regula, Strama. Survived by a son David (Christine) of New Lenox; two grandchildren Amanda and Andrew; two brothers Stanley (Cindy) of Lemont and Donald (Juanita) of San Antonio, TX; and an aunt Carol Regula. Per

Robert's wishes, cremation rites were accorded and private family services were held. Arrangements by: O'Neil Funeral Home, Lockport. 815-838-5010
