We got to know Dr. Arora due to his passionate care for patients and cardiovascular public health. He was a highly intelligent and determined innovator that positively influenced the lives of his patients, students, fellows and coworkers. He will be missed.

Truly honored we have met and walked the streets of Illinois and listen to its noise when drinking coffee and enjoy the sunlight that was truly bright sometimes at night we watched political debates and couldn't wait until election date you always cheered me up and helped me to man up often bringing me to eat or moving from the things I didn't need with a naughty smile that never going to retire even in the china town where you took me to inspire to be braver to be stronger to work harder to look forward which you have so long as I've known ya I could only wish I'd be like you. Farewell, my dear Roy, I will remember only joy of darkish jokes we cracked a lot of house music we had loved of shake shakes that we ate nearby of watering your plants in summertime
Rest in peace Uncle Roy, you will be missed

He was a very kind and generous man. I worked for him as his Chief Nurse for the critical care division he oversaw. He insisted on perfection for his patients. My favorite funny story about him was when we were snow bound in the hospital due to a blizzard and he said, can you help me, I want to buy pizza for everyone that is spending the night here ensuring our patients are well taken care of. I will take care of the cost. I gently reminded him that we were stuck inside because we couldnt drive home. We both had a good laugh and enjoyed cafeteria sandwiches! Im thankful to have had the opportunity to work for and learn from him. He will be missed and fondly remembered.
