Roland W. Winterfield, DVM of West Lafayette, IN, age 95. Beloved husband of the late Patricia; loving father of Roland (Carolyn) Winterfield, Jr., MD, Philip and Mary Winterfield; proud grandfather of Jeffrey (Laura, MD) Winterfield, MD, Lauren (Jed) Peters and Anne Winterfield; great-grandfather of James, Andrew and Graham Winterfield and Mary Kathryn, Nora and Betsy Peters; dear brother of the late Verna (the late Clifford) Jackson; fond uncle of many. Professor Emeritus Purdue University, School of Veterinary Medicine/Avian Diseases. 1987 Recipient of Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Veterinary Medical Association. Lying in State on Wednesday at Holy Family Villa Chapel, 12220 S. Will Cook Rd., Palos Park, IL 60464 from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Austin, MN.
