Roman Doxtator Obituary

Doxtator, Roman

Roman H. Doxtator, age 82, of Oneida passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. He was born October 11, 1931 son of the late Clifford and Melinda (Doxtator) Doxtator.

He was a member of Holy Apostles Episcopal Church, Oneida. He was employed with Valley Trucking, Oneida Casino and worked with Schuster Construction and was a mechanic for Ness until his retirement. Romy enjoyed hunting and fishing at the family cabin in Laona, WI. In his younger days he was an avid bowler and in his spare time enjoyed gambling and playing cribbage with his buddies.

He was survived by his sons, Waylon Denny Sr. and William Denny; grandsons: Waylon Jr. and Dayton; mother of his children and special friend, Beverly "Dolly" Denny; siblings: Clifford Doxtator, Clarissa (Stan) Alexander, Marilyn Danforth and Allen (Mary Jane) Doxtator, Victor Doxtator, Ruth Ann Miller and Gloria Doxtator.

Preceded in death by his siblings: Donald Doxtator, Rachael Reed, and Patricia Doxtator.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon with Bob Brown officiating with music by the Oneida Hymn Singers.
