I was sorry to hear of the death of Roman Olczyk, who worked with me for a number of years at Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association in Chicago. I was Vice President of the EDP & TC Services Dept. at BC&BSA. Roman audited my group on several occasions and always did a fair and objective job with no hidden agendas. He was professional, courteous and always very helpful to me and my staff.I last saw Roman around 1995 or so in my office at CRT (Chicago Research & Trading) where we had a nice talk. I can't think of a better way to remember anyone today in the self-serving world in which we all live than to say that Roman was honest and a very nice person to work with. May God bless him and his family.
