Mrs. Matuszczak and family, living far away, I have only recently heard of your dear husband's passing, and I wanted to extend my condolences to you on this wonderful man's departure. I am the son of William Powell, a close friend of Ro's for many years thru the Chicago Society and other Polish organizations. Dad left us in 2013, but Ro was a true friend to us and our family, I think especially appreciated in his always including Dad, and our sister Mary Grace, at his July 4th barbecues after Mom passed. You of course know this already, but Ro had a deep feeling of love for others, in a most singular and special way. We will keep all your family in our prayers as you mourn his loss. I hope you all are doing well. I had just talked with dad on Friday, and he sounded pretty good, better than the last time I spoke with him. Glad that I was able to re-connect with him in 2017. Thinking of all of you, and of course, dad.

On behalf of the entire Dobrzycki family, we offer our deepest condolences and most sincere sympathies to Chris and the entire Matuszczak family. Ro always spoke highly and with admiration of our father, the late Stanley Dobrzycki. Our mother just recalled the stellar service provided to our family by Mr. Matuszczak and his travel agency Matco Travel, a business started in 1920 by Ro´s father and continued on by the more than capable hands of his son. God bless you Romuald Matuszczak, your big smile and wonderful laugh will shine forever in our hearts. Till we fly again in the blue skies to the Poland forever, thank you Ro, cze´s´c !!
