I had Mr. Stoeckig for 6th grade. He was a great teacher! I remember his laugh and sense of humor. I never heard a teacher laugh or tell jokes before. I remember having a crush on him from that moment on. My thoughts go out to his life partner, family and friends.

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Ron. I had the pleasure of working with Ron for several years before he retired. At the end of the school year, Ron always planned a field trip on the Wendella Boat Tour on Lake Michigan. I have no idea how long ago he started this tradition, but when he retired the responsibility was passed on to me (the newest teacher to join the 6th grade team). I have kept this tradition going since Ron retired. It is a favorite field trip among the students and I hope to continue what Ron started for many more years. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Ron will be greatly missed.

Ron was a purely good man. I wish there were more like him. In the few times we've been lucky enough to be around him, he was always smiling. Everyone who knew him will miss him.

I worked with Ron for a number of years. He was one of the nicest people I knew, with a great sense of humor. I will always picture him in his white shirt, sleeves rolled up slightly and always the tie. He made a difference in so many students' lives, and will be missed.

My husband and I had the pleasure to know Ron through the antique business. He was such a kind and gentle man. I will miss his warm hugs and million dollar smile. He was like a favorite uncle. Even though we were only friends for a short time, our hearts are heavy over his loss. We pray for him and his family, especially our dear friend Doug. We know that he is in heaven now but we will miss him so much. With all of our love and prayers, Patty & Ron

There are so many things I will miss about Ron. His patience, his strength, his love for mankind, his willingness to help in any and all things. I will miss his support, his infectious laughter, as well as his love for my brother as well as family members. Rest in peace. We will miss you dearly.
