Rose Kobernik nee Mokren, age 96. Beloved wife of the late Sander. Cherished mother of Marlene (Daniel) Lassman, Fran (Paul Pershin) Rovell, Howard Kobernik and his loving partner Sandy. Also survived by her loving daughter in law Sharon Kobernik. Adored grandmother of Carie (Tony Malcoun) Lassman, Matthew (Megan) Lassman and Rebecca (Carter Roeber) Lassman, Liza (Jason) Pollack and Corey Kobernik. Treasured great grandmother of Lucy and Harry Malcoun, Penelope, Ruby and Olive Lassman, Oscar and Trudy Roeber and Faye Rose, Maizy and Henry Pollack. Dear sister of Beatrice (the late Seymour) Greene and the late Marilyn (the late Edward) Weisman. Service Wednesday 11AM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. I have many fond memories of my Aunt Rose when I was growing up. She always welcomed us into her home with loving arms. I know she was instrumental in helping my dad and mom in their early years. My deepest sympathy and love to your family during this time of loss.

I have very fond memories of my Aunt Rose. She always welcomed me with a smile and a banquet. I loved visiting her home and my cousins. My condolences to the whole family. It sounds like you blessed her with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her much joy.

In memory of Rose our thoughts and condolences are with you all.
I grew up on Pratt next door to the Kobernik family, seem to remember that Rose would forget to turn her car off and we would find in still there running the next morning.
Our family just returned from Chicago as Joanne's mother past away last Monday so I would guess its a busy day in Heaven.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. I will love and miss my Aunt Rose always. I have many warm memories of her, including going to her house sometimes for my school lunch break and having tomato soup and melted cheese sandwiches.
