Rose Levy, nee Elkin, 93; beloved wife of the late David; loving mother of Dr. Norman (Dr. Rosemary Orgren) Levy and Jay (Susan Stone) Levy; adored grandmother of Jessica and Adam (fiancée Rachel Zinaman) Levy; dear sister of the late Carl, Mollie, Minnie, Nate (Jackie Elkin), Paul (Terry Elkin), Hy and Etta. The family would like to give special thanks to Olivia Camacho, who provided devoted care to Rose for many years. Graveside Services Wednesday, 12 noon at Westlawn Cemetery, (Elm Section), 7801 W. Montrose, Norridge. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 8430 W. Bryn Mawr, Chicago, IL 60631, www.alz.org would be appreciated. Dear Family,
Deepest sympathy for your loss. I remember many years ago the planning of the travels of the 2 Roses and the great memories they shared. Your parents were one of the four couples that for many years were the closest of friends and so enjoyed each others' company.
Must mention the mahjong games and how much that meant in their lives. Your mother can now take her seat with the other "girls".
