Roy W. McDonnell

1955 - 2022

Roy W. McDonnell, 67, of River Forest formerly of Elmwood Park passed away peacefully June 17, 2022.  For 25 years, Roy has been the beloved life partner of Mary Ellen Hanrahan.  Roy was the loving son of the late William and the late Finni McDonnell and he was the cherished brother of the late Brian McDonnell.  Roy also leaves behind many wonderful lifelong friends.  He served proudly in the US Army as a sergeant with the Military Police and received medals for Good Conduct, Army service and Army Achievement.  Roy will be remembered for his extraordinary sense of humor, his love for football and his enjoyment of a great meal.
