Russell P. Krumsee, age 89, US Army Veteran of Korean War. Beloved husband of Livia A., nee Bertolini, for 63 years. Loving father of Angela (Tom) Kwasinski, Michael (Diane) Krumsee, Christine (Michael) Scholl and John (Daryl) Krumsee; loving Papa of 8; Great-Papa of 3. Russell worked 28 years for the Chicago Tribune and 25 years for the Passionist Fathers. Visitation Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 3-8 pm at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Rd., Mt. Prospect and also Monday 10 am until time of Funeral Mass 11 am at St. Alphonsus Church, 411 N. Wheeling Rd., Prospect Heights. Entombment All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Russell's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908 appreciated.
