Eddie and I were so sadden to hear Ruth past away. Take comfort in knowing that now you and your family have a guardian angel to watch over you.

We were blessed to have Ruth and Don as neighbors. Ruth's strong devotion to and love for her husband and family were obvious to anyone who knew her, as was her dedication to early childhood education. In fact, we recently passed on to our niece, who is a preschool teacher, a collection of educational activities and stories for preschoolers from Ruth: her education methods and love of children live on.
Our sincere condolences to Don, and all family members, at this time of great loss. May faith and fond memories be sources of comfort at this difficult time.

My most treasured memories of Ruth are the great conversations we had while commuting to a downtown play/musical or riding bikes together. I was always impressed by her total love of and commitment to her family and her work with at-risk preschool children. She was a wonderful human being, and I will remember her always with great fondness.

I was saddened to learn of your wife's passing. Although we only know each other from our weekly bike rides, I do consider you a friend and am saddened by your loss.
