to Sam's family, each one of you, i send my condolences. i worked with Sam for over 30 years at the Developmental Institute at Michael Reese Hospital and the Family Insitute at the University of Illinois at Chicago. it was a treat working with Sam. he added a great deal to my knowledge about the familyies and the children we worked with. i experienced his intelligence and his caring. he was in touch with the pain of others. i regret not being there for him during his last year. i do send my love to all of you and i do appreciate how important you have all been to Sam.
with synpathy,

my heartfelt sympathy to sam's entire family: wife, children, grandchildren, step-children. i had the privilege of working with sam for a number of years, at michael reese hospital & med. ctr. sam was
a very humble, caring, bright psychologist, always supportive of
patients, their families, his co-
workers; always a wonderful supervisor and teacher - very approachable, warm, kind. and he was a wonderful son, always seeing to his mother's needs. i reget not being aware of his illness. my
condolences to his entire family.
