Saverio Peter Barone, age 57, of Bartlett, born in Brooklyn NY, he passed away Monday Jan. 21, 2008, beloved husband of 26 years to Lois, nee Enders; loving father of Samantha; dear brother of Stephen (Janet Tanke) and Carolyn (Michael) Shannon; fond uncle of Stephanie; cherished son of Saverio and Loorene Barone. Memorial visitation Saturday 11 a.m. until the time of Memorial service 1 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 333 S. Roselle Rd., Roselle. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory. Memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. 630-529-5751.

My condolences to you and your family. I’m so sorry to hear of Pete's passing. You may not remember me but I worked with Pete for years at GRI. He was ALWAYS an uplifting person with a smile on his face and the gift to gab. He will be truly missed. Sam, he was so proud of you on that soccer field. You are in my prayers.

Dear Lois and Samantha (Sam),
We are so saddened to hear of your great loss and wish you our heartfelt condolences. We will never forget Peter and the exuberance he brought to the soccer field for all those years when he really taught us the game. I know that I always looked for him on the sidelines to watch the game with him because he was so passionate and knowledgeable.
