Loss of a Friend,
Scott was one of my best friends in the vending machine industry. I was also around to enjoy his ride on the wave at Lucky's He was an astute, knowledgeable man.
Being with Scott was fun, enjoyable and at the same time a learning experience about all aspects of life. Now, how could you not want to be around a gentleman who had those qualities? Just his laugh brought joy.
The last time I saw Scott was in Miami when he just beginning his family. You could feels his joy and happiness and I felt this was the greatest peace of mind and joy I had ever seen him experience.
Like he told me the last time I spoke with him, don't feel sorry for him, he had lived a great life. Well Scott I will listen to your words but we all feel sorry and sad because you are truly loved and we will miss you in so many ways, but family and friends will move forward in a positive manner as you would have wanted us to. Until the end you were always teaching.
God Bless you my friend!

I was so sorry to hear of Scott passing away. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. I had known Scott during my tenure with the Illinois Department of Transportation. He was a staunch supporter of passenger rail service but more importantly I considered him a good friend. He will be missed!

When I arrived in Chicago in 1998 my cousin Betsy introduced me to her fiance Scott. It seemed like he knew everyone in Chicago. I had never met anyone so connected and so willing to share those connections. Not only the life of the party, but the instigator, planner and closer of the party. He will be missed by so many.

Betsy, our love and prayers to you, Natalie and Ben Scott, and you too, welcomed Kellie from day one to your family. Such an amazing social, funny man!! I remember the first lengthy conversation I had with Scott......you and him went to dinner and he stopped to pick up Natalie at my place. Our girls were working on middle school "history fair". We are here and please let us help❤. Love and Hugs XO. Eileen, Kel and Erenberg Family
