Scott Howard Obituary

Scott Laurence Howard, resident of Munster Indiana, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 19th, 2022. Beloved husband to the love of his life, the late, Patricia "Patti" Howard (nee Trehey). Born on July 2nd, 1959, Scott grew up in Chicago working in the commodities business at the CBOT for over 40 years. The son of Raphael Louis Howard and Florence Marie Howard (nee Dooley). He was a 36 year member of NA and now is an infinity member, he loved the fellowship deeply. He had a love of Elvis Presley music and the aura that surrounded his legend, and was a true Chicago sports fan. He was a great son, brother, husband, father, uncle, coworker, and friend. He inspired people to be better through his example. Scott was preceded in death by his wife Patti his parents Raphael and Florence and his brothers Michael Howard, Timothy Howard and Joel Howard. He is survived by his step-son Michael Trehey, his sisters Shawn (Wayne), Patrice (Ron), Colleen (Dianne), Kerry (Steve), Geralyn "Gigi", Erynn (Mike) and his brother Keith (Janet) and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Scott gave the gift of life, reminiscent of his parents and other loving family members, whose generosity was expressed in donation of organs through the "Gift of Hope".

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association, Toys for Tots or https://keystofreedomfoundation.org. Memorial Services will be held as St. Bernard Catholic Church 13030 W 143rd St, Homer Glen, IL. on Saturday October 1st, 2022. Gathering at 9:00 a.m. Services begin at 10 a.m.

What can I say about Scott: I first met Scott in the 1980s, we worked together at the same firm, what a nice man and then we met up again at RCG. He would go out of his way to help anyone out. Scott was one of a kind and was a true friend and will be sorely missed and gone too soon. Scott may you Rest in Peace! Goodobye my friend. My sincerest condolences to the entire Howard family.
