Having caught up with an old friend from college with whom Scott was close, I just learned of his passing more than 7 years post facto. Scott was an amazing individual, thoughtful, kind, resolute, a real mensch. Life gets in the way until it doesn't, at the confluence of believing that our loved ones will forever "be there" and the stark reminder that Mr. Time comes, eventually, for all of us. My deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers for Scott's entire family and all of his loved ones
