Bruce Keyworth Obituary

Keyworth, Bruce A., DDS age 81, of Grand Rapids and St. Paul, MN passed away on September 22, 2013. Preceded in death by parents, Marion and Roland; brother, Bill; and sister, Marge. Survived by wife, Mary Jo; children, Mark (Judy), Rick (Beth), Jim (Gabriela) and Kathy; stepchildren, David (Kerri) and Beth (Jay); grandchildren, Katie, Ben, Christine, Amber, Stephanie and Alyssa; brother, Don (Colleen); and many nieces and nephews. He graduated from the U of M Dental School in 1955 and served in the USAF in England. He practiced dentistry in St. Paul for over 20 years and was past president of the St. Paul District Dental Society. His contributions to the field of dentistry in Minnesota included passage of the dental practice act, water fluoridation and expanded duties for dental hygienists and assistants. His passions included attending MN Vikings games; birding, especially, with his lifelong friends Vern Whipple and Ollie Johnson, and building his cabin in northern Minnesota. Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association or Audubon Society.
