Sincere sympathy to the Faydash family. It's been years since we've seen Steve, but have fond memories of times in La Grange Park with your family. We still smile whenever we think of his favorite one word response to most things (at least at that time period)! He'd slightly shake his head, close his eyes and just barely whisper, "pressure"!
It's hard to loose a father - especially so suddenly. May your friends and family bring you comfort.
Our best to you -

Steve, thanks for making my mom so happy. The kids all loved you and so did my mom. Your corny jokes will be missed. We'll eat buckeyes every Christmas, and Bugles at parties in your honor. Keep watch over us and help us remember that everything is going to be ok.

We know that he has been a great Dad and grandfather. We hope that your many friends and families will sustain you during this very difficult time.

Steve was like a father figure and almost like a grandpa to my kids. They grew up knowing him nearly their whole lives-spending their birthday parties with him, celebrating some holidays together, and of course lots of time outdoors fishing and walking the hiking trails.
Missing you but celebrating you for how you touched our lives. You were a wonderful man and longtime companion to my mom. Cheers, Steve Faydash! We're expecting a party and an intense game of Bunco at our next reunion.
