My mother was the most kind, loving, beautiful woman that ever lived. I would be nothing without her. She made the best desserts, she was such a good baker. Her singing voice was that of an angel. I would give anything to hear that voice one more time.

I learned of Susan's passing today and I am so terribly sorry for her family and friends at this time. I worked with Sue a number of years ago at an agency in Palatine and I enjoyed her energy and sense of humour very much. I know she loved her family dearly and was a dedicated member of her community and church. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Dearest Joe and family,
I am stunned and saddened to hear of Sue's passing. I so looked forward to sitting with her at 5:00 mass, holding hands, and praying as we struggled to understand the negative aspects of this beautiful world we live in along with the trial and tribulations of parenting. Her hugs filled me with hope. Her smile brought me joy. Her request for me to run for board member humbled me. Her love inspired me. I cannot being to imagine the hole this has created in your heart as I feel mine breaking. The last time we spoke was at OLW as we discussed just hanging out in your home as a way for us or at least myself to feel love and acceptance. I write this in tears especially since I won't be in AH to grieve with you. I will hold her picture and memories from our school days at South, Arlington and OLW as a special treasure as well as the beautiful memories I have of such a dear special friend. Please know my love and prayers for Susan, and you all, are abundant. With great love, respect and sadness, JoDee McDonnell ♡
