To all of Susy's family, I'm so sorry for your loss and will keep you in my prayers.
I was a Honey Bear with Susy and had it not been for her, I would not have met my husband. Long story, but she said "live life Debbie" and I agreed to meet him on a blind date in Cancun 30 years ago.
One of the best nights of my life, was a sleep over at Susy's house with some of the Honey Bears. Remember girls? "Chinky loves you" is what she told me to say to our coach when we called Coach Cathy really late that night and woke her up giggling and laughing. So much fun!!!
Susy, could make me laugh, when I wanted to cry and now I'm crying and laughing thinking about Susy.
She will be missed but I'm thankful for the wonderful memories of Susy I will enjoy forever.
Blessings to all,
Debbie

Mom,
The world is a little too quiet without you around, thank you so much for all you did raising me, years of working 3 jobs so I could have a great childhood, always being there whenever I needed help. I'll have to learn to get along on my own now, but you left me with 2 great brothers that I know I can lean on. I know you are watching over us and always wanting us to smile and laugh, and I will do my best to make you proud.
I love you

I might write for a living but words escape me now. Susie was one of my biggest "fans" -- and I was one of hers. Her laugh was contagious and she smiled through so much adversity and sickness. My thoughts and prayers are with her grieving family. May Susie finally have some peace.
