Joyce Houston Obituary
Sweetwater, TN
Joyce Ann Arden Houston, age 75, of Sweetwater, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at her home. She was of the Presbyterian faith, former owner and operatory the Sweetwater Western Store and Houston Housing of Sweetwater.
Preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Arnetha Duggan, husbands, Clayton "Gib" Arden, the father of her children, and Joseph Houston; granddaughter, Lori Annette Richson; brothers, two infant brothers, and Jerry Duggan. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Steve Richson, of Niota; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Lisa Arden, of Churchton, MD.; grandchildren, Stephanie Arnetha Correll, of Niota, Jamie Joann Richson, of Niota, William Jeffery Arden, of Churchton, MD.; great-grandchildren, Lucas Correll, Logan Correll, Tyler Corbett, and Lauren Correll; step-sons and daughters-in-law, John and Betsy Houston, Mark and Jennifer Houston, five step-grandchildren; sister, Wanda Bayless, of Knoxville; brothers, Kenneth and Mike Duggan, both of Sweetwater; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday at 2:00 PM in Kyker's Chapel.
