To our dear members of the Vranas family,
There are no words to describe how sad we are at the passing of our beloved Lola. The thought of her being with Paul at this time is the only thing that makes me smile. We loved them both dearly.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember shopping at Grocerland on Fullerton in Chicago. We were all family and friends. My mom & dad, Helen & Christ, back in the fifties and sixties, would send me shopping. I think I enjoyed talking to Lola, Paul, George, Mary, Steve and everyone more than shopping. Lola and Paul always stressed work hard and get a great education.

Thea Lola was one of a kind. She bridged the gap from post war torn Greece to life on an estate in Lake Forest. She made sure that she and her entire family was always active, productive, and devout. That included not only her spouse and children but also brothers and sister, in laws and all who came in contact with her. She was full of energy and spirit. Her devotion to life, her family, and her church require a book or a movie to describe, not this small paragraph. For you who knew her, there are not enough words. For those of you who didn't know her, words can never describe her adequately.
The memories of her will be vivid in me as long as I live.
