Ted and I were rabid Cubs fans together in elementary and high school. We reconnected 40 years later at Wrigley Field and kept in touch since then. He had a wry sense of humor, along with the talent and energy to maintain a musical career well into his 80s. I hope the Cubs find a way to memorialize his contributions to the Wrigley experience.

Waiting to get into Wrigley Field before a Cubs game will never be the same without Ted and his band playing outside. As a graduate of Hyde Park High school Ted cheered us all up hoping for a Cubs win. He will be greatly missed

I am a cousin of Teds but only met him a couple of years ago along with his brother and sister. I am so glad I did. He was a very sweet man and very talented. It was a pleasure knowing him. To all his family, Ron and I send our condolences and hope his beautiful memories will put smiles on your faces

Even though I don't remember Ted (I was only a baby then) I know my Dad considered Ted one of his best friends when we lived in Chicago. Bill Sundstrom son of "Banjo" Bob Sundstrom.
