I had the pleasure of meeting Cooch while I was on assignment for a news story in Homer Glen. I was taking a break and sat down next to him and he looked as though he'd lived a good long life so I asked him, "What's the most important thing?" And he reached for his jacket and reveled his gold chain necklace with his beloved wife's name. I thought that was so sweet and he let me take a few photos of him. I was going through some archived photos and came across these today thinking that someone might like to see them. I didn't know him well but knew he had a rich history and I'll never forget him. Rest in Peace Cooch and Anne. -Treffly Coyne

My Family and I lived next door to Anne and Cooch for over 25 years in Oak Lawn on Tripp street, I used to cut there grass years ago. They were both Great Neighbors Then I moved to Tinley Park and I would see Cooch at the Corner Store on 179th and we would talk about the old times. He always was a great guy to talk to and he will be missed by all.
