I was shocked and am in disbelief at the news of Tom's passing. He was a wonderful man of faith in action and set a wonderful example for his family and friends. Although we did not socialize together much, I will miss his presence immensely. My family sends it prayers to your family during these terribly difficult times...

Family and friends will remember what Tom said and did, but everyone will remember how Tom made them feel. He made them feel like they mattered and he treated them with respect. Whether it was someone he just met or someone he stopped for a traffic violation.
He always had a smile for everyone. He was always willing to help people. He was a great friend to me and my family. I will never forget the great times we had talking about cars, movies, Star Trek, and his experiences at work. He looked forward to Sunday nights watching TV shows with our combined families in our family room, as did I.
He loved his family very much. He made you want to be a better person by seeing how he interacted with his family and others.
Mark, Caitie, Kelly and Will, your father will live on in each of your hearts.
I will never forget him. Remember that all of you are still our second family and we love you.
