Sorry for your loss. He was one of my favorite teachers. He was also my driver's education teacher - he'd get so mad that I would drive with two feet. We call him TK to this day. Rest In Peace, TK.

I worked with Tom at TPHS for a very long time. He was an excellent teacher. I remember his compassion and good sense of humor. Most of all though I remember his great love for his family. Rest In Peace.

Will always remember how kind Tom was to me when I transferred into Visitation Grade School from Iowa. He showed me the ropes and didn't let anyone bother me. Later saw him at the Visitation reunions and he always looked great! Last contact was a note to encourage him to attend our 50th Class Reunion at DePaul University.So very sorry to hear of his passing. God bless Tom.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Kilmartin was my Drivers Ed teacher and my English teacher. It was a very long time ago but I will always remember his patience trying to teach me how to parallel park. I'm 63 years old now but I think I could do it if I had to. Words cant express how much fun it was to be around Coach Kilmartin the 4 years I was at TPHS. I was lucky to play 4 years of golf for him and also spent many years listening to stories around his office. His views on sports, business, and world events is something that I will never forget. Coach Kilmartin will be missed but never forgotten.

My condolences to the Kilmartin Family.Tom and I were colleagues in District 228 for many years. We also socialized outside of work. We had many spirited racket ball matches and union/administration debates. He was a friend and will be missed. Sending good thoughts from Naples Florida.

Tom was our President of our homeowner association for many years. Prayers for him. Heavenly father, Tom's work here on earth is done, keep him close in your arms, give him his wings and let him watch over those of us who have not completed our work. Bless him on his journey. He will be missed. We look at his home with a heavy heart knowing he has left us. We are grateful he is no longer in pain. Amen.
