Muldoon, Thomas J. who has presided in Wrentham for the last 2 years, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford, MA. He was 90. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (Ormsby) Muldoon. He was a graduate of St. Aloysius High School, in Jersey City, NJ; he earned his B.S. in Chemistry from St. Peter's College, and continued his graduate work at MIT, studying meteorology, The Polytech Institute of Brooklyn, studying chemistry,the Stevens Institute of Technology, and Harvard University, studying management. Formerly of Oak Brook and Elmhurst, IL, he retired over 20 years ago as the President of the Fibre Box Association, a trade association for the manufacturers of corrugated boxes in the US and 10 years ago as the Secretary Generale for International Corrugated Case Association. He had worked for General Foods Corp. in the packaging research department, the Fibre Box Association as chief operating officer, the National Paperboard Association, Solid Fibre Box Group, and the International Corrugated Case Association. He was also a World War IIArmy Veteran and was given seven battle stars for his participation in campaigns from Guadalcanal to Tokyo. He wasawarded the Bronze Star for his service with the guerrilla forces on the island of Cebu in the Philippines. He was elected a member of the Packaging Hall of Fame due to his advice to the military during the Vietnam War. Beloved husband of the late Claire (Sidler) Muldoon, he was the father of Janice Muldoon-Moors of Mendon, Geralyn Libby of IL, Thomas Muldoon of WI, James Muldoon of Mendon, and Mary Beth Runyon of Wrentham. Brother of Dorothy Mulligan of CT, and the late Regina Nienstadt, he is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A Mass will be held at the Ascension Church, 1 S 314 Summit Avenue, OakBrook Terrace, IL, on Saturday, March 12 at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements are under the care of Richard J. Ross and the R. J.
