Sheila (Mom)-

Condolences on the passing of Dad. He was a very lucky man to have you taking care of him for the past 52 years. Your constant support allowed him to pursue his love of the medical profession and help countless numbers of patients over the years. He loved you dearly.

You know that he will be by your side in all you do now, so I hope you continue to enjoy your life. Take time to make new friends and travel. Stay involved with the grandkids and family because we need you! Take good care of yourself. If you need anything - just ask! With love...

Greg, My condolences to you and your family on the loss of your father. It's never easy losing a loved one regardless of being young or old. I am sure you shared many good memories with your Father and they are to be cherished and remembered. Your lasting thought should be knowing he is in a better place than us right now and in peace.

Dear Sammons Family,

Dr. Sammons (and Dr. Rohr) were our family physicians in the 1960's when they practiced on Hicks Rd. in Palatine. When my father, John McCaffrey, suffered from cancer, both young doctors were wonderful in their care of him and of our entire family. My Dad thought so highly of both doctors, and now that my own daughter is a Family Practice physician, I see how important this role is to many, many families. The care and concern Dr. Sammons showed to us all and to my Dad has never been forgotten. I am so sorry for your loss.

To the Sammons family:
My deepest, sincerest condolences on your loss. Dr. Sammons was our family doctor many years ago. His expertise helped my mom through some health problems, and gave my father 15 more wonderful years with us, and there are no words that can express our gratitude. I understood Dr. Sammons' dedication and compassion when he flew to St. Mary's to be with my dad for his first surgery. May you be blessed and comforted knowing how many people he cared for and counseled - and of how many families he was a cherished member.
