Una Hassett Obituary
Una "Winifred" Hassett, native of Toonagh, Co. Clare, Ireland, beloved daughter of the late William and Margaret, nee Cusack, Hassett; preceded in death by her 11 brothers and four sisters in Ireland; loving aunt of Billy (Veronica) Hassett and many other nieces and nephews. Una was a great friend to many. Visitation Thursday 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday, 8:45 a.m. from Kenny Brothers, 3600 West 95th St., Evergreen Park, to Most Holy Redeemer Church. Mass 9:30 a.m. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery. Masses will be appreciated. For info, 773-239-3600 or 708-425-4500.

Una, you will be greatly missed by all your loving family and friends. All who knew you loved you and your keen wit and humor. I will always remember you fondly and the good times shared listening to the wonderful music we love so much. I hope the craic in heaven is as good as 6511.

I will miss you immensely Una. You were like a 2nd mother to me and touched our lives in a loving, caring profound way. I will miss playing scrabble with you and just hanging out. Twenty years of friendship...always concerned with my well being and those I loved...always ready to listen...and talk it over. Una, you are someone I could tell anything to and could laugh, or cry, or pray with. How I miss you already. You are the only one I know who prayed more than I did.
