Usha Mahisekar

Usha Mahisekar, age 70, at rest June 10, 2016. Beloved wife of Laxminarayan "Larry" Mahisekar; loving mother of Sameet "Sam" (Sarah) and Dharati (Adam) Szymanski; devoted grandmother of Ravi, Linus, Seth, Hugo and Laurel; dearest sister of Madhu (Paul) Nappi. Usha completed her primary schooling in Sholupar. India. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from B.J. Medical College in Pune, India and completed her residency of Anesthesiology at the University of Illinois. She practiced at several hospitals including St. Francis in Blue Island, St. James in Chicago Heights and Oak Forest Hospital. She retired in January 2012 while at J.H. Stroger Hospital in Chcago, Il. She received an M.A. in Sanskrit from Karnatka University in 2014. Funeral Services Wednesday at 10 A.M. at Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, Anthony P. Cappetta & Son, directors, 10501 W. Cermak Road (2 blocks west of Mannheim Rd.), Westchester. Cremation to follow at Oakridge Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 3-9 P.M. Info 708-F-U-N-E-R-A-L.
