SO MANY YEARS PASSED SINCE THE DAYS OF WILLMER'S GAS STATION WOLF & BUTTERFIELD..VINCE & ME..'THE ORIGINAL WEDDING CRASHERS "..VINCE AND DANNY IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSE ..WITH DANNY " BOOG-A-LOOING DOWN THE BLOCK ..THEN GOING OVER TO HILLSIDE SCHOOL TO THROW THE FOOTBALL AROUND..! I STILL HAVE THE MOVIES..AND I'M SURE VINCE'S WIFE AND DAUGHTER WOULD GET A KICK OUT OF SEEING THEM...TRIED OVER THE YEARS TO GET IN TOUCH...BUT NEVER HAPPENED...I GUESS NOW I CAN REVEAL THE FACT THAT IT WAS INDEED VINCE WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR SIDESWIPING ANOTHER CAR AS WE SPED OFF.AFTER DOING SOME "SLIGHT DAMAGE" TO THE OLD SCHREIBER STATION WAGON...
I COULD GO ON AND ON..

Dear Vince -- The summer is over and school has begun once again. AYSO soccer practices have started (Tuesday & Thursday nights for the McNultys -- Meggie is a Rainbow Fish...I think we met when your Katie and my Katie were Rainbow Fish) and Nikki Tiedeman just completed volleyball tryouts at STS. Our club group from last season is well represented on the teams -- your Katie, my Molly, Adri, Jessie, Alex, Angelina and the rest. Your Debbie and Katie look beautiful and Deb is doing an awesome job on the PTG board - our parent club address book will be out earlier than it has in years, thanks to Deb and Jean's time and talent. The pre-school is set to open early October and it's looking great -- 42 kids already registered!! Msgr. is on sabbatical until December and we're blessed to have Fr. Charles joining us from India in his place -- and the PSHS Homecoming Parade is coming up on Wednesday. O'Donnell has just closed for reseeding so that means it's not long before we'll be back for the opening party, the Turkey Shoot and another year of fun.
Vince, we miss seeing you every day and yet you are still so present in all that we do. Your smile, your thoughtful & wise leadership, your daily presence and friendship with our school family, your strong faith and your gift of laughter and fun --they're all still here. We feel you in Katie's laughter on the playground, in Deb's beautiful voice and smile, in the girls playing volleyball -- and in everyone that was fortunate enough to know you. Vince, you made this world a better place just by being you -- how lucky we all were that our paths crossed.
When the kids come marching down Palm Canyon Drive with the STS banner on Wednesday, you'll be there as always and we'll feel the warmth of your smile and the strength of your love.
Thank you for your friendship! with love -- Kim, Ulli, Molly, Katie & Megan McNulty, Palm Springs

The St. Theresa Families held a Get together at our home July 1st to celebrate Vince's life. We think he would have loved all the champagne, all the kids swimming, all the families together. Only the time we spent talking about Vince, and what a wonderful man he was, would have made Vince uncomfortable, we think.
The Montez Family will stand by the Schreiber Family with love and prayers. XOXOXO, Maggie, Larry, Amanda & John

Schreiber/Schulze we sat near one another through out grammar school. Vince was always at the top of our class, always prepared, always polite, a treasure to know. My prayers are with you.

To the Schreiber family,
We haven't seen Vince for many years but both of us worked at Heinold with him in the early 70's.
He is so memorable! Maybe the nicest of all the brokers. What a smile. We will keep you all in our prayers.

We first met Vince, Deb and Katie six years ago through AYSO soccer when our daughters played on the same team. Our friendship continued at St. Theresa School. The girls took tennis lessons together and for the past two years played on the same Club Volleyball team. We had many opportunities to hear Vince's stories and jokes. Vince would always greet you with a firm handshake or hug, a smile and a good joke. We will miss the fun times.
Monsignor McGinn would often pray:
May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
May the rains fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
God Bless you Vince. We will miss your smile.
Love, Henry, Andrea, Jessica and Amanda Bolaños

I went to high school with Vince and we shared the same homeroom for 4 years. Everyone always knew that Vince was special. I can still remember him as he was back then: athletic, outgoing, and of course, mischievious. So long for now, Vince. Hope to have the same homeroom with you in Heaven. My best wishes and sincerest sympathy for the loved ones you temporarily have left.

We will miss you Vince! My fondest memories are from the Lake in the summer. Seeing Vince on the boat or on the golf course - brings a smile to my face. One of THE funniest people I know! If you were having a bad day, you would want to run into Vince - he would make you laugh and forget about all your worries. My deepest condolences to his wife and daughter - Vince will truly be missed.

The Boyle family would like to express their deepest sympathy to Debra and Katie as well as the entire Schreiber family. My brother Pat and Vince were the best of friends for many years. They shared many good times in the commodity business, traveling, golf and loving life. They also shared their faith and love for the Catholic church. They are both at home in heaven now. We will always remember Vince's smile and the twinkle in his eyes.
